The Economist Intelligence Unit forecasts that Canada will be one of the best countries in the world to do business in through 2009. It is open to foreign trade and capital, has high quality infrastructure and easy access to North American markets.

  • Triple-A credit ratings from both Standard and Poor's and Moody's Investors Service.
