Canada Trade Agreement

British Columbia is a trade-friendly province. As part of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), British Columbia companies can export and import duty-free within the NAFTA region, regardless of their corporate nationality.

The British Columbia — Alberta Trade, Investment and Labour Mobility Agreement (TILMA) agreement encourages the free flow of goods, services, investment and workers between British Columbia and Alberta. TILMA has created the second largest economic region in Canada.

Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada has a listing of Free Trade Agreements and other initiatives that British Columbia is part of.
