BRITISH COLUMBIA SKILLS CONNECT

The British Columbia Skills Connect for Immigrants Program (Skills Connect) is an employment program that helps skilled immigrants connect to jobs in British Columbia that build on their skills, training, knowledge, and experience.

The Skills Connect program provides services and supports to:

• Assess recent immigrants' skills, qualifications and experiences
• Provide career counselling and planning
• Provide skills upgrading, including workplace language support
• Offer workplace practice opportunities, such as mentoring
