Temporary Foreign Workers

Before a foreign worker applies to Citizenship and Immigration Canada for a work permit, in most cases their British Columbia employer needs approval to hire them as a temporary foreign worker.

To obtain this approval the employer must apply to Human Resources and Skills Development Canada for a Labour Market Opinion.
