INTERNATIONAL YOUNG WORKERS

The federal government, through the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, delivers several programs that allow young adults from certain countries to work while traveling in Canada. If you are interested in working while traveling in Canada, you must apply for a Working Holiday/Student Work Abroad visa at the Canadian foreign affairs office in your country. The Working Holiday Program allows young people from outside Canada to work here legally for up to two years.
